dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to determine the opinions of teachers concerning to what extent elementary school principals realize EFQM leadership criteria. The research is a descriptive survey. The population of the study consists of elementary school teachers in Erzurum's central counties, Palandöken, Yakutiye and Aziziye. Of this population, 756 teachers were sent the data collection tool, and 557 teachers were chosen as participants, who completed the tool voluntarily and completely according to the instructions. Data collection tool of the research is European Quality Management Leadership Criteria Scale and five questions aiming to determine personal information of the participants. For statistical analysis, T-Test and ANOVA was used. Significance level was taken as .05. There was no significant difference for the variables like gender, field, education level, graduated faculty and professional tenure between the opinions of elementary school teachers related to which degree principals realize EFQM leadership criteria. It was also found that teachers believe principals realize EFQM leadership criteria at higher level ( X=3.62).en_US
