Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, değerler eğitimine okul ve aile katkısının öğretmen ve veli açısından değerlendirmektir. Araştırma modelini nicel ve nitel desenlerin bir arada olduğu karma araştırma yöntemi oluşturmaktadır. Nicel boyutta betimsel tarama modeli nitel boyutta durum çalışması modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadaki veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen "Değerler Eğitimi Uygulamalarına Okul ve Aile Katkısının İncelenmesine İlişkin Öğretmen Tutumu Ölçeği" ve öğretmen ve velilere yönelik görüşme formları ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemeni, nicel boyutta Samsun iline bağlı ilkokullarda görev yapan farklı branşlardan 319 öğretmen ile nitel boyutta görüşme yapılan 14 öğretmen ve 14 veli oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma ölçeğine ilişkin hesaplanan Cronbach Alfa iç tutarlık katsayısının .93 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 26 maddeden oluşan beşli likert tipi ölçek basit seçkisiz yöntemlerinden maksimum örnekleme modeli ile seçilen örneklem üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Verilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği belirlendiğinden analiz sürecinde t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) testlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre nicel boyutta öğretmenlerin değerler eğitimi uygulamalarında okul ve aile katkısına ilişkin tutumları yüksek düzeydedir. Öğretmenlerin görüşleri cinsiyet değişkenine göre aile katkısı alt boyutunda erkek öğretmenlerine lehine anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşmaktadır. Yaş değişkenine göre ise 20-30 yaş arası öğretmenlerin 31-40 yaş arası öğretmenlere göre okul katkısı alt boyutunda tutumları daha yüksektir. Öğretmen görüşleri medeni durum, mesleki kıdem, dersleri yürüttükleri sınıf, öğrenci sayısı, branş, eğitim durumu ve değerler eğitimine ilişkin seminerlere katılma durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşmamıştır. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda ise veli ve öğretmen görüşlerine ilişkin sonuçlara yer verilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the contribution of schools and families to values education from the perspective of teachers and parents. The research model is a mixed research method combining quantitative and qualitative designs. A descriptive survey model was used for the quantitative dimension and a case study model for the qualitative dimension. Data in the study were obtained using the "Teacher Attitude Scale Regarding the Examination of School and Family Contributions to Values Education Practices," developed by the researcher, and interview forms for teachers and parents. The study sample consisted of 319 teachers from different branches working in primary schools in Samsun province for the quantitative dimension, and 14 teachers and 14 parents who were interviewed for the qualitative dimension. The Cronbach's Alpha internal consistency coefficient calculated for the research scale was found to be .93. A five-point Likert-type scale consisting of 26 items was applied to the selected sample using the maximum sampling model, a simple random sampling method. Since the data were determined to have a normal distribution, t-tests and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) tests were used in the analysis process. According to the results of the research, teachers' attitudes toward school and family contribution to values education practices are high in the quantitative dimension. Teachers' opinions differ significantly in favor of male teachers in the family contribution sub-dimension based on the gender variable. Regarding the age variable, teachers between the ages of 20 and 30 have higher attitudes than teachers between the ages of 31 and 40 in the school contribution sub-dimension. Teacher opinions did not differ significantly based on variables such as marital status, professional seniority, classes taught, number of students, subject, educational background, or participation in seminars on values education. The qualitative dimension of the research includes results regarding parent and teacher opinions.
