Özet
Kanaliküler hasar sonucu bikanaliküler entübasyon yapılan hastaları değerlendirmek
Metod: 2006-2010 yılları arasında Fırat Üniversitesi Oftalmoloji Kliniğinde kanaliküler laserasyon nedeniyle cerrahi onarım yapılan 20 hastanın kayıtları retrospektif olarak incelendi. Hasta yaşı, yaralanmanın nedeni, yaralanan kanalikül, kanalikül yaralanması ve cerrahi arasındaki süre açısından incelendi.
Bulgular: Hastaların 13’ünde alt kanalikül kesisi 7’sinde ise üst kanalikül kesisi mevcut idi. Tüp kalış süresi ortalama 5,75 ay idi (1-6 ay). Yirmi hastanın 20’sinde de (%100) lavaj açık iken (anatomik başarı), 19 hasta (%95) asemptomatik idi (fonksiyonel başarı). Sadece 1 hastamız semptomatik idi, bu hastamızda da cerrahiden 1 ay sonra silikon tüp çıkmıştı. Yaralanmadan cerrahi yapılana kadar geçen sürenin cerrahi başarıyı etkilemediği tespit edildi. Tüm hastalarda kozmetik sonuçlar tatminkardı.
Sonuç: Travmatik kanalikül kesilerinde pigtail probe yardımı ile yapılan silikon tüp implantasyonu fonksiyonel iyileşme ve anatomik düzelme sağlayan efektif bir yöntemdir.
To analyze the outcomes of surgical repair of canalicular lacerations by bicanalicular intubation Methods: The case records of 20 patients who applied to the Ophtalmology Department of Firat University between 2006-2010 who undergoing surgical repair of canalicular lacerations were retrospectively reviewed. Patient age, causes of injury, injured canalicul, time between injury and surgery were evaluated. Anatomical and functional results, duration of silicon tube retention and complications were also evaluated. Results: Among the patients, 13 had only lower and 7 had only upper canalicular damage. Mean duration of silicon tube retention was 5.75 months (1-6 months). Of the 20 patients, 20 (100%) had patency after irrigation (anatomic success) and 19 (95%) were asymptomatic (functional success).One patient was symptomatic because of extubation silicone tube after 1 month from surgery. No difference was observed for time between injury and surgery. Cosmetic results were satisfactory. Conclusion: Functional healing and anatomic reconstruction of canalicular injuries can be managed with silicon tube intubation with pigtail probe, which is an effective and applicable method.
