| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, ilköğretim okulu öğrencilerinin algıladıkları yönetici ve öğretmen desteği, şiddet ve okul memnuniyeti araştırılmıştır. Araştırmaya 14 ilde 42 ilköğretim okulundan 6, 7 ve 8. sınıflarda öğrenim gören toplam 3409 öğrenci katılmıştır. Verilerin toplanması amacıyla Okul Atmosferi Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları öğrencilerin okul memnuniyeti algılarının yönetici ve öğretmen desteği ile pozitif ilişkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Okul memnuniyeti ile algılanan şiddet arasında ise negatif bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Regresyon analizi sonuçları, öğrencilerin okul memnuniyetinin açıklanmasında öğretmen ve yönetici desteğinin anlamlı yordayıcılar olduğunu göstermiştir. Öğrencilerin öğretmen desteği, yönetici desteği ve okul memnuniyeti değişkenlerine ilişkin algıları cinsiyete ve sınıf düzeyine göre anlamlı farklılıklar göstermiştir. Öğrencilerin şiddet algıları ise cinsiyete göre anlamlı farklılık göstermezken, sınıf düzeyine göre anlamlı şekilde değişmiştir. Öğrencilerde okul memnuniyetinin ve algılanan sosyal desteğin artırılmasına ilişkin öneriler sunulmuştur. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study investigated the perceptions of primary school students’ about principal and teacher support, perceived violence at school, and school satisfaction. A total of 3409 students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades at 42 primary schools in 14 cities were participated in the study. The School Atmosphere Scale was used to gather data. Results showed that students’ perceptions of school satisfaction were positively related to both teacher support and principal support. However, student school satisfaction was negatively associated with the perception of school violence. Regression analysis indicated that perceived support from teachers and principals were significant predictors of school satisfaction. Although perceived school violence did not vary depending on gender, significant differences were found in students’ perceptions of teacher support, principal support, and school satisfaction by the variables of gender and grade. Several suggestions are presented to enhance student school satisfaction and perceived social support. | en_US |
