| dc.description.abstract | Music; It is one of the most important auxiliary elements of television series. Emotions play a strong and active role in the perception of the story to be told to the audience in the series. In addition to the concepts of time, space and history, he helps the audience to analyze the characters with the compositions written specifically for the characters of the TV series through music. In the research, 30 compositions and arrangements (Bir Günah Gibi / Ajda Pekkan duet) by Toygar Işıklı in the series Aşk-ı Memnu, one of Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's Immortal works, which is the second adaptation in the history of Turkish TV series, were examined. It aimed to make sense of the function and structural analysis of the music in the series by making use of descriptive analysis and case study methods. To mention a few of the research results, it is seen that Toygar Işıklı composed about thirty works for Aşk-ı Memnu, that the music preparation process for the TV series was more limited compared to the preparation process of the soundtrack, compositions were made for the characters in the TV series, and the ratings of the music prepared for the TV series were positively affected. It has been determined that piano, violin and cello instruments are generally used in the music of the Aşk-ı Memnu series. © 2021, Nilgun SAZAK. All rights reserved. | en_US |
