Özet
ÖZET Dış-iç, beden-ruh, madde-mana, şekil-öz gibi yapıya ve içeriğe dair kavramlar yüzyıllarca sorgulanmış, bu kavramlar arasındaki rabıta hemen her bilimin inceleme konusu olmuştur. İnsanın beden ve ruhun birleşiminden oluşan bir varlık olması onun hem dünyevi heveslere hem yüksek erdemlere sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Beden ve ruh arasındaki bağ sebebiyle kişinin bedeninin ruhuna açılan bir kapı olduğu fikri birçok ilmin dikkatini çekmektedir. Beden yapısından hareketle karakter tahlili metodunun milattan önceye dayanan serüveni karakter tahlilinde kişinin davranışlarının bedeninden uzak değerlendirilemeyeceği gerçeğini ortaya koymaktadır. Kadim çağlarda dört temel element olarak kabul edilen ateş, hava, su, toprağa göre sınıflandırılan insan, daha sonra bu dört elemente tekabül eden dört sıvıya -kan, sarı safra, kara safra, balgama- göre mizaçlara ayrılmaya başlanmıştır. Hipokrat, Galen ve İbn-i Sina gibi ünlü tıp âlimleri bu mizaç tiplerine göre ayrı ayrı tedavi yöntemleri geliştirecek kadar bu sınıflandırmaya itimat etmişlerdir. Bilimlerin gelişmesiyle birlikte sıvılara göre değerlendirme yapmanın yerini beden/yüz yapısına göre karakter tahlili metodu almış, Doğu'da ilm-i kıyafet, ilm-i sima vb. adlarla anılan metot Batı'da frenoloji, biotipoloji, morfoloji gibi inceleme dallarına ayrılmıştır. Psikoloji bilimiyle yakından alakalı olan bu bilimler daha sonra Freud'un bilinçdışı çözümleme yöntemlerinde kullanılacak, Freud, -özellikle rüyalarda görülen- somut nesnelerin sembolik değerlerinden yola çıkarak bilinçdışında bastırılmış komplekslere ulaşma yolunu deneyecektir. Tıp, psikoloji, tarih, felsefe gibi birçok alandan yararlanılarak oluşturulan bu çalışmanın amacı natüralist akıma bağlı olarak eserler veren ve başta psikoloji, tarih, tıp, ilm-i sima, ilm-i kıyafet gibi birçok bilimden haberdar olan Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil'in Aşk-ı Memnu eserindeki karakterlerden Bihter, Nihal, Behlül, Firdevs Hanım ve Adnan Bey'in ayrıntılı olarak hem beden hem ruh tahlillerini yapmaktır. Öncelikle kadim bilimler ışığında incelenen bu karakterlerin mensup oldukları anasır-ı erbaa ve ahlat-ı erbaa özellikleri ortaya konulmakta ve bu iki temel yöntemden hareketle roman kişilerinin burçları hakkında ayrıntılı bir incelemeye gidilmektedir. Çalışmanın ikinci basamağında Kretschmer, Sheldon ve Corman'ın ortaya koydukları beden yapısı ve karakter çözümlemesi yöntemi ışığında bu beş karakterin ruh hâllerinin değerlendirilmesine çalışılmaktadır. Çalışmanın son basamağında ise Freud merkezli psikanalitik değerlendirmelere yer verilmektedir. Karakter tahlilleri yapılırken Servet-i Fünun dönemindeki toplumsal olaylara, yazarın içerisinde bulunduğu sanat çevresine ve Aşk-ı Memnu'nun yaratıcısı Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil'in şahsi hayatına yer yer gönderimlerde bulunulmuştur. Bihter, Nihal, Behlül, Firdevs Hanım ve Adnan Bey olmak üzere beş başlıktan müteşekkil olan, dönem-toplum-yazar ve roman karakterleri ekseninde psikolojik çözümlemelerin yapıldığı bu çalışma, yayınlandığı zamandan itibaren oldukça değer verilen Aşk-ı Memnu'nun ve Türk edebiyatında estetik romanın öncüsü sayılan Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil'in kurgulama tekniğini ve romancılığını besleyen kaynakları ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. ABSTRACT The terms such as; interior-exterior, body-soul, material-meaning, shape-essence are questioned for decades and are subject to almost all sciences in terms of their bonds. The fact that human exists as a synthesis of the body and the soul, humankind has desires for world and also valuable merits. Most science focused on the relation of the soul and the body and the consideration that the body is a route to the soul. Body movements and the character analysis history go back to Before Christ and this adventure is a proof of the reality that human body cannot be considered independently from the behaviors. In the Ancient times human were separated in to four groups with respect to four elements that are fire, air, aqua and earth. After a whilethat separation of the four elements converted to for bodily fluids; blood, yellow bile, black bile and phlegm. Famous medicine scientists such as Hippocrates, Galen and İbn-i Sina respected and followed that methodology and they even developed different cures for the different human types. With the evaluation in the science, the analysis based on the bodily fluids changed with the character analysis based on body or face type. In the East that metod is called as ilm-i kıyafet, ilm-i sima vb. on the other hand in the west frenoloji, biotipoloji, morfoloji gibi inceleme dallarına ayrılmıştır. The sciences that are highly correlated with psychology, subsequently will be used in unconscious analysis methods of Freud. The main focus of Freud is to explain the depressed complexes by using the symbolic values of the things from the dreams. This study is composed by bringing together many sciences such as medicine, psychology, history and philosophy. Main objective of this study is to make soul and body character analysis for Bihter, Nihal, Behlül, Firdevs Hanım and Adnan Bey that are characters in the famous novel Aşk-ı Memnu belongs to famous author Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil that may be naturalist and has a deep knowledge in psychology, history, medicine, ilm-i sima and ilm-i kıyafet. The study consist from five chapters named; Bihter, Nihal, Behlül, Firdevs Hanım and Adnan Bey and it is aimed to show different aspects of that novel that was always had attention of the public from the beginning.
