Okültizm, insanların aklı ve vahyi bir kenara bırakarak sadece sezgi ve keşif yöntemiyle hakikate ulaştıklarını iddia ettikleri faaliyetlerin toplamı olarak bilinmektedir. Gizemcilere göre her sır keşfedilmeyi bekleyen bir hazine olarak görülmekte ve bu gizemli sırları bilmek için akla değil tamamen sezgisel güçlere vakıf olmakla beraber özel deneyimlere de sahip olmak gerekmektedir. Bu sezgisel güce her insanın deneyimleri ile sahip olacağı iddiası insanların ilgisini çekmiş bulunmaktadır. İnsanın gaybı bilme arzusu ve sırra vakıf olma dürtüsü ile gelişen bu okült eğilimler günümüzde de varlığını sürdürmektedir. Günümüzde kapitalist hayatın çıkmazları, küresel sermayelerin dayatmaları ve kişinin ruhsal bunalımları ile kutsala duyulan ihtiyaç, insanların semavi dinlerle beraber modernite ile şekillenmiş geleneksel okült eğilimlere de yönelmelerine sebep olmuştur. Hemen her toplumda dini inanç gözetmeksizin varlığını sürdürmeye başlayan okült eğilimler bazen oldukları gibi farklı kültürlerde var olurken, bazen değişerek varlık göstermektedirler. Bu bağlamda tezimizde, Okültizmin tanımını ve oluşum sürecini, Müslüman düşüncesinde varlığını sürdüren bazı okültist etkileşimlerin neler olduğunu ve İslam düşüncesinin bu okültist etkileşimlere dair yaklaşımı ele alınmış bulunmaktadır. Occultism is known as the sum of activities in which people claim to have reached the truth only by intuition and discovery, leaving reason and revelation aside. According to mystics, every secret is seen as a treasure waiting to be discovered, and in order to know these mysterious secrets, it is necessary to have special experiences as well as being fully aware of intuitive powers. The claim that every person will have this intuitive power through their experiences has attracted the attention of people. These occult tendencies, which developed with the desire of man to know the unseen and the urge to know the secret, continue to exist today. Today, the deadlocks of capitalist life and the spiritual depressions of the person and the need for the sacred have caused people to turn to traditional occult tendencies shaped by modernity, along with monotheistic religions. Occult tendencies, which have started to exist in almost every society regardless of religious belief, sometimes exist in different cultures as they are, sometimes they exist by changing. In this context, in this thesis, the definition and formation process of occultism, some of the occultist interactions that exist in Muslim thought, and the approach of Islamic thought to these occultist interactions are discussed.
