| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: It is observed that ceramics, one of the plastic and visual communication arts, adomain which describes and superficially and three-dimensionally interprets verbalelements such as concepts, ideas, and text in terms of design principles and elements,is also used in medical education, as it is in many fields. Ceramic art is aninterdisciplinary domain juxtaposed by education, art disciplines, science, technologyand chemistry. For this reason, ceramics education plays a crucial and prominent roleto make the theoretical knowledge and experience in health more understandableand comprehensible by transforming them into visibility and three dimensions.Besides the use of the traditional methods of art in conveying information throughsuperficial and three dimensional visualization in medical education, the expressionmethods more enriched by today’s technological possibilities has increased theinterest in ceramics. This interest is reflected in contemporary education and arteducation as the acquisition of purpose to make individuals acquire skills along withthe transfer of the information, to develop their potential and talents through scienceand technology, and to reach individuals and societies capable of creating newproducts in the intellectual, artistic and cultural fields. Ceramics education themedical students take is provided jointly by other art disciplines. This education hasbeen revealed to contribute to aesthetics, psycho-motor skills and creative thinkingprocesses in previous studies by authors. In this study, seven students’ works wererandomly selected out of the works of 12 female and 10 male students amongFaculty of Medicine, Inonu University, Term I and II students who have attended toceramics education course for the first time. Accordingly, ceramic works wereassessed in terms of construction techniques, form, ornamentation, colorcharacteristics and narrative language, while plastic arts were evaluated in terms ofanalysis methods and self-expression. At the end of the ceramics training, thequalitative questionnaire developed by three experts was administered to the medicalstudents and the findings were presented in tables. | dc.description.abstract | Öz: Plastik ve görsel iletişim sanatlarından biri olan seramiğin, tasarım ilke ve elemanları açısından; kavram, fikir, metin gibi sözel unsurları yüzeysel ve üç boyutlu betimleyen, yorumlayan ve birçok alanda olduğu gibi tıp eğitiminde de kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Seramik sanatı; eğitim, sanat disiplinleri, bilim, teknoloji ve kimya biliminin bir araya gelerek oluşturduğu disiplinler arası bir alandır. Bu nedenle, sağlık alnındaki teorik bilgi ve deneyimleri görselliğe ve üç boyuta dönüştürerek anlaşılabilir ve kavranabilir bir hale getirilmesinde seramik eğitimi önemli ve etkili bir rol üstlenmektedir. Tıp eğitiminde bilginin yüzeysel ve üçboyutlu görselleştirilerek iletilmesinde sanatın geleneksel yöntemlerinin kullanılması yanında, günümüzün teknolojik olanaklarıyla daha da zenginleşen ifade yöntemleri seramiğe olan ilgiyi artmıştır. Bu ilgi, çağdaş eğitim ve sanat eğitimi anlayışında bilgi aktarımı ile birlikte kişiye beceri kazandırmayı, yeteneklerini bilim ve tekniği kullanarak geliştirmeyi, düşünsel, sanatsal ve kültürel alanda yeni ürünler ortaya çıkarabilen birey ve toplumlara ulaşmayı amaç edinme şeklinde görülmektedir. Tıp öğrencilerinin aldıkları seramik eğitimi, diğer sanat disiplinleri ile verilmekte, estetik, psiko motor becerileri ve yaratıcı düşünme süreçlerine katkı sağladığı yazarların daha önceki çalışmalarında ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, İnönü Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dönem I ve II öğrencilerinin ilk kez aldıkları seramik eğitimi dersine devam eden öğrencilerden 12 kadın ve 10 erkek öğrencinin çalışmaları arasında random yöntemiyle yedi öğrencinin çalışmaları seçilmiştir. Buna göre, seramik çalışmaları yapım teknikleri, biçim, süsleme, renk özellikleri ve anlatım dili açısından, plastik sanatlar analiz yöntemi ve kendilerini ifade edebilmeleri açısından incelenmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Seramik eğitimi sonunda üç uzman tarafından hazırlanan nitel anket tıp öğrencilerine uygulanmış ve bulgular tablo halinde sunularak okumaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Buna göre, tıp öğrencilerinin seramik eğitiminde kazandıkları farklı beceriler ilerde seçecekleri uzmanlık alanlarını belirlemede etkili olabileceği görüşlerine de yer verilmiştir. | en_US |
