| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Ascaris lumbricoides ile enfekte 34 (13 erkek ve 21 kadın) ve 30 sağlılıkla kontrol grubundan (12 erkek ve 18 kadın) alınan toplam 64 serum örneği bazı sitokinlerinin seviyelerini tespit etmek için test edildi. TNF-?, IL-l?, IL-2R, IL6 ve IL8 'in serum seviyeleri solid faz kemilüminisans enzim immunometrik assay ile tespit edilirken IL-2, IL-4 ve IL-10 seviyeleri Enzim Lynked immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) ile ölçüldü. En çok artan sitokin IL-2R idi, Ascaris lumbricoides ile enfekte olan kişilerin %88.23' ünde yükselmiştir. Bunu IL-2 ve TNF-? (%85.29), IL-6 (%32.35), IL-8 (%20.58), IL-l? ve IL-4 (%14.71) ve IL-10 (%5.88) takip ettiği görülmüştür. TNF-?, IL-2, IL-2R ve IL-6 seviyelerindeki artış oranları belirgin olarak farklı olmuştur (p<0.001). Bu sonuçlardan, Th 1 immun yanıtının Ascaris lumbricoides ile infekte kişilerde baskın olduğu görülmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: The levels of some cytokines were determined in 64 sera collected from 34 persons (13 male and 21 female) infected with Ascaris lumbricoides and 30 healthy controls (12 male, 18 female). Serum levels of TNF-?, IL-lß?, IL-2R, IL6, and IL8 were determined by a solid-phase two site chemiluminescent enzyme immunometric assay, while IL-2, IL-4, and IL-10 levels were measured by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The cytokine, which was increased the most, was IL-2R with an elevated level in 88.23% of the subjects infected with Ascaris lumbricoides. This was followed by IL-2 and TNF-? (85.29%), IL-6 (32.35%), IL-8 (20.58%), IL-l? and IL-4 (14.71%), and IL-10 (5.88%). The elevated ratios of TNF-?, IL-2, IL-2R and IL-6 levels were significantly different (p<0.001). From these results it can be concluded that the Th 1 immune response seems to be predominant in the subjects infected with Ascaris lumbricoides. | en_US |
