Özet
Bu çalışmada Adana Hacı Sabancı Organize Sanayi Bölgesi'nin Adana Kenti'nin kentleşme sürecindeki etkisi incelenerek, sanayileşme ve kentleşme kavramları, Dünya'da sanayileşme, dönemler itibariyle Türkiye'deki sanayileşme süreci, kentleşme ile kalkınmanın birbirleriyle etkileşimi ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca organize sanayi bölgeleri konusu incelenerek bu kavram öncelikle teorik anlamda anlatılmış, Dünyada ve Türkiye'de organize sanayi bölgeleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Sonrasında organize sanayi bölgelerinin kalkınma ve kentleşme üzerindeki önemi konusuna yer verilmiştir. Eski çağlardan beri önemli bir yerleşim merkezi olma özelliği gösteren Adana'nın coğrafi konumu, sosyo-ekonomik durumu ve tarihsel gelişim süreci üzerinde de durulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda Türkiye'deki OSB'lerin öncülerinden olan Adana Hacı Sabancı Organize Sanayi Bölgesi'nin Adana ekonomisi ve kentleşmesine olan etkisi üzerinde çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu çerçevede, Adana Hacı Sabancı Organize Sanayi Bölgesi'nin kurulmasıyla ilin sanayileşmesi hızlanmış, istihdam ve üretim kapasitesi artmıştır. AOSB sonrasında kurulan sanayi ve hizmet kuruluşlarının kente çekmiş olduğu nüfus, ticareti geliştirmiş ve kentteki ticaret ilişkilerini arttırmıştır. Adana'nın sanayileşmesi 1950 yıllara dayanmakta ise de özellikle 1984'lerden sonra Adana Hacı Sabancı Organize Sanayi Bölgesi'nin kurulması ile birlikte Adana'nın sanayileşmesi hız kazanmış, kent çekim merkezlerinden biri durumuna gelmiştir. Bu gelişmeler ise ilin kentleşmesini etkilenmiştir. Kente göçle gelen nüfusun büyük kısmı sanayileşmenin yoğun olduğu Adana merkez ve Ceyhan yolu üzerine yerleşirken bir kısmı da sağlıksız kentleşmenin temelini oluşturmuştur.
In this paper, Adana of Adana Hacı Sabancı Organization Industry Area's effect in urbanization process was investigated. First of all, industrialization and urbanization concepts were mentioned then industrialization in world, the process of industrialization period in Turkey and the interact of development and urbanization mentioned interact with each other, respectively. Organized industrial zones were described in theoretical then Organization Industry Zones in Turkey and world were accented and the subject which is importance of development and urbanization was included. Additionally, Adana, which is the major place since ancient times, its geographic location, socio-economic and its historical development processes were expressed. In the end of study, effect of the pioneer in Turkey of Adana Hacı Sabancı Organization Industry Area's was investigated on Adana's economy and urbanization. In this context, industrialization was quickened, contributed to the city's employment capacity and provided important economic developments with being built of Adana Hacı Sabancı Organization Industry Area. Result of being built Adana OIA, population of industrial and service companies have taken the city, have developed trade and increased trade relations in the city. Despite the fact that industrialization of Adana based on 1950, especially, after 1984's industrialization of Adana quickened and it was became one of the city attractions with being built of Adana Hacı Sabancı Organization Industry Area. This improvements effected urbanization of this city. Large part of population which came into the city with immigration, was placed on Adana center and Ceyhan way where were intense of industrialization. The other part of population created the basis for unhealthy urbanization.
