Özet
Distance education is an area based on interdisciplinary design and has a history of 3000 years. From a distance training applications due to begin not yet established the Republic of Turkey, our country has not reached a sufficient level of practice in this regard. Together with the newly established state, the concept of distance education was conceptually discussed until the 1960s and started to be implemented in the 1970s. This practice was realized at the secondary level and then started to be used in higher education and private sector. Distance education applications that enable the individual to learn independently from time and space have eliminated the necessity of shaping an individual's life according to some rules. Made the purpose of this study is analyzed in accordance with expert opinion on the future of distance education applications in Turkey. The members of the working group considered as experts in the study are faculty members working in universities. The answers given to the questions posed by the researcher to the lecturers through the interview form were subjected to content analysis by the researcher and given in the form of theme tables. © 2020 Published by ISRES Publishing
