Özet
In this meta-analysis the effect of school climate considered as an academic
achievement was tested. In the literature review, 153 studies were found and 62 of
them were included in this meta-analysis. With this study, 62 studies, independent
from each other, were brought together and 81.233 study subjects were included in
the sample group. The results of the analyses performed with random effects model
revealed that school climate has a moderate effect on students’ academic
achievement. It was found that only the year of publication was a moderator variable
from all the moderators of lesson, sample group, type of publication and year of
publication. According to the results obtained from this study, school climate is a
significant variable for academic achievement.
