Özet
"Edvard Grieg'in Op.7 Piyano Sonatının İncelenmesi" adlı çalışmanın amacı, adı geçen eserin müzikal olarak detaylı bir şekilde inceleyerek, elde edilen verilerin yorumlanması ile hem icracılara hem de araştırmacılara kaynak oluşturmaktır. Nitel bir araştırma olan bu çalışmada betimsel tarama ve döküman analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Başta Ulusalcılık akımı, Norveç klasik müziği ve Edvard Grieg hakkında yerli ve yabancı ilgili kaynaklar üzerinde literatür taraması yapılarak detaylı bir şekilde araştırılmış, düşünsel ve teorik temelleri belirtilmiştir. Grieg ile aynı dönemde yaşamış olan ve Ulusalcılık akımından etkilenen diğer bestecilerin genel olarak müzikal özelliklerine değinilmiş ve özellikle Edvard Grieg'in yaşadığı dönemde uluslararası müzikte yeri ve önemi; hayatı ve sanat anlayışına bakarak irdelenmiştir. Bestecinin piyano yazısı ile ilgili yapılmış çalışmalar taranmıştır. Ulusalcılık akımından etkilenen besteciler ve bestecilerin ürettikleri eserlerde ulusların halk müziklerinden etkilenen formsal ve armonik değişkenler ele alınıp, dönemin şartlarına göre gelişimi ve teknik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Grieg'in piyano için bestelediği eserleri genel olarak değerlendirilip, eserleri hakkında bilgiler toplanmıştır. Grieg'in Op.7 numaralı piyano sonatının bestelenme süreci, bestecinin genel sanat anlayışını ne oranda yansıttıkları, karakter özellikleri araştırılıp bunlara dayanarak form analizi ve formu destekler nitelikte armonik analizler yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak ilk ve son bölümlerin sonat allegrosu, ikinci bölümün sonatin, üçüncü bölümün ise üç bölmeli lied formunda olduğu görülmüştür. Tonal dizaynda ve formal yapıda her ne kadar Klasik Dönem sonat yapısından esinlenilen özellikler bulunsa da besteciye ve Ulusal müziğine has müzikal öğelerle bu temel yapılar kırılmıştır. The purpose of the study named "Examination of Edvard Grieg's Op.7 Piano Sonata" is to examine Edvard Grieg's Op.7 Piano Sonata, which was taken as a sample, in detail, and to make determinations about the works, and to create a source for both performers and researchers. In this context, the literature was searched in detail on the relevant books, articles and theses from domestic and foreign sources on Nationalism, Norwegian classical music and Edvard Grieg, and their intellectual and theoretical foundations were specified. The general musical characteristics of other composers who lived in the same period with Grieg and were influenced by the Nationalism movement were mentioned and especially the place and importance of Edvard Grieg in international music during his lifetime; It was examined by looking at his life and his understanding of art. Studies on the composer's piano writing have been scanned. In the works produced by composers and composers influenced by the nationalism movement, the formal and harmonic variables influenced by the folk music of the nations were examined, and its development and technical features according to the conditions of the period were examined. Grieg's works composed for piano were evaluated in general and information about his works was collected. Composing process of Grieg's piano sonata Op.7, how much they reflect the composer's general understanding of art, character features were investigated and based on these, form analysis and harmonic analyzes that support the form were made. With the assumption that these works reflect the universe, comments have been made on both Nationalism and Grieg. As a result, it was seen that the first and last parts were in the form of sonata allegro, the second part in sonatin, and the third in the ternary form. Although there are features inspired by the Classical Period sonata structure in tonal design and formal structure, these basic structures were broken with musical elements specific to the composer and National music.
