dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada, İnönü Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi Merkez Mikrobiyoloji Laboratuvarı’na 2009 yılı içerisinde çeşitli servislerde yatan hastalardan gönderilen, değişik klinik örneklerden izole edilen 173 Staphylococcus aureus suşunun antimikrobiyal direnç profilinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Suşların antimikrobiyal duyarlılıkları CLSI standartlarına göre disk difüzyon yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. İzole edilen 173 suşun 63’ünde (%36.4) metisilin direnci saptanmıştır. Metisilin dirençli Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) ve metisilin duyarlı Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA ) suşları sırası ile; siprofloksasin’e %66.6 ve %5.45, gentamisin’e %41.3 ve %8.2, eritromisin’e %58.7 ve %6.4, trimetoprim-sülfametoksazol’e %20.6 ve %1.8, klindamisin’e %36.5 ve %6.4, rifampin’e%61.9 ve %15.5 oranında dirençli oldukları belirlenmiştir. Vankomisin ve teikoplanin’e ise direnç saptanmamıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, we aimed to investigate antimicrobial patterns of 173 Staphylococcus aureus strains isolated from several clinic samples of hospitalized patients in Central Microbiology Laboratory, Inonu University Turgut Ozal Medical Center, within one year. The antibiotic susceptibilities of the strains were evaluated by the disk diffusion method according to the recommendations of the CLSI. Of the 173 strains, 63 (%36.4) were methicillin resistant (MRSA). The resistance rates of MRSA and MSSA strains were found as follows, respectively, ciprofloxasin 66.6% and 5.45%, gentamicin 41.3% and 8.2%, erithromycin 58.7% and 6.4%, trimetophrim-sulfamethoxazole 20.6% and 1.8%, clindamycin 36.5% and 6.4%, rifampin 61.9% and 15.5%. All strains were sensitive to vancomycin and teicoplanin.en_US
