Özet
Bu çalışma Türk demokrasi tarihinin en ciddi dönemlerine şahitlik eden Hamit Fendoğlu'nun siyasi hayatını analiz etmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Hamit Fendoğlu hizmetleri ve siyasi kişiliği ile zamanla bölgesel siyasetteki etkisini ve namını genel siyasete taşımıştır. Nam-ı diğer Hamido, Türk demokrasi tarihinde önemli bir dönüm noktası olan çok partili hayata geçiş ile Türk siyasi sahnesinde yer bulmuş ve siyaset hayatına Demokrat Parti ile dâhil olmuştur. Türkiye'nin siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomik olarak en puslu yıllarını içine alan 1960-80 arası dönem, aynı zamanda onun Türk siyasetinde ününün artmaya başladığı yıllardır. Menderes iktidarına kadar Malatya ve çevre illerde siyasi kimliği olmaksızın tanınan ve saygı duyulan Hamit Fendoğlu'nun ünü Demokrat Parti döneminde tüm Türkiye'ye yayılmıştır. Onun benzerine az rastlanır karakteri siyasi hayatına da olumlu katkılar sağlamıştır. Memleketine olan sevgisi ile ülkesine olan bağlılığı Türkiye'nin en karanlık dönemlerinde dahi onu hizmetinden alıkoymamıştır. Kendisine gönderilen bombalı paketin patlaması sonucu gelini ve iki torunu ile hayatını kaybeden Hamit Fendoğlu, Türk siyaset sahnesinden kalıcı şekilde uzaklaştırılmıştır. Hamit Fendoğlu Türk demokrasi tarihinin en önemli gelişmelerinin ve sorunlarının yaşandığı dönemde Türkiye'de genel ve yerel siyasete önemli hizmetlerde bulunmuştur. Herkesin bir bedel ödediği siyasi ortamda o bu bedeli hayatı ile ödemiştir. Onun siyasi karakteri bugün hala Türk halkının hafızalarındadır. Çalışmada Hamit Fendoğlu'nun hayatı, fikir ve düşünce dünyası, siyasete bakışı, siyasi faaliyetleri ve bunların yerel ve genel siyasete etkileri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca Hamit Fendoğlu'na karşı işlenen suikastın nedenleri ve sonuçları tartışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, Hamit Fendoğlu'nun gerek nevi şahsına münhasır karakteri ve siyasi kimliği ile gerek Türk siyasetindeki önemi ve etkisi ile araştırılması ve tanınması gereken değerli bir siyaset adamı olduğu anlaşılmıştır. This study aims to analyze the political life of Hamid Fendoğlu. Hamit Fendoğlu is effective politician who witnessed the most serious periods of Turkish democracy history. Hamit Fendoğlu's influence on regional politics extended to, the general politics thanks to his services and political personality. Hamit Fendoğlu, known as Hamido, involved in the Turkish political scene with the transition of a multi-party model, which is an important turning point in the history of Turkish democracy, and took part in the political life with the Democratic Party (DP). Turkey has experienced the darkest political, social and economic periods between the years of 1960-80. Hamido's general politics has increased in this depressed years. His devotion to his hometown and his country, he continued to serve in the darkest periods of Turkey. Until the Menderes rule, he was popular and respected without his political identity, but is fame spread all around Turkey during the Democrat Party period. His original character contributed positively to his political life as well. His love for his hometown and loyalty to his country ensured that he continued his service even in the darkest era of Turkey. Hamid Fendoğlu, who lost his life with his two grandchildren and his bride, because of the bombed packet sent to him was removed permanently from the Turkish political scene. Hamid Fendoğlu, performed essential services in general and local politics of Turkey that witnesses the most important developments and problems. In the political environment where everyone pays a price, his price was his own life. His political character is still in the memory of the Turkish people today. This study explores Hamid Fendoğlu's life, thought, political perspective, political activities and their effects on local and general politics. In addition, the causes and consequences of the assassination against Hamit Fendoğlu have been discussed. As a result of this work, it is understood that Hamit Fendoğlu is a valuable politician, who had to be investigated and recognized with his unique character, political identity, as well as significance and influence in Turkish politics.
