| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Amaç: Yüksek hipermetropik hastalarda ve katarak cerrahisini takiben gelişen miyopik ve hipermetropik refraksiyon kusurlarının düzeltilmesinde çift (piggyback) göz içi lens implantasyonunun etkinliğini değerlendirmek. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışmaya 4 hastanın toplam 7 gözü alındı. Bir hastaya yüksek hipermetropi nedeniyle şeffaf lens çıkarılması(ŞLÇ) ve primer iki taraflı çift göz içi lens implantasyonu yapıldı. Üç hastanın toplam 5 gözüne de psödofakik belirgin ametropi nedeniyle sekonder çift göz içi lens implantasyonu yapıldı.Bulgular: Tüm gözlerde ametropide belirgin azalma ile subjektif görsel memnuniyet artışı elde edildi. Ortalama ameliyat öncesi tashihli görmeler 0.35 ± 0.21(0.16-0.8), ameliyat sonrası ise 0.65 ± 0.27 (0.3-1.0) olarak bulundu. Ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası refraksiyon kusurunun sferik eşdeğer ortalaması sırasıyla +2.79 ± 6.19D (+9.00 – 6.05) ve +0.48 ± 1.44 D ( +2.12 -2.25) idi. Sekonder çift göz içi lens implantasyonu yapılan bir gözde reoperasyon gerektiren üstteki göz içi lensinin belirgin desantralizasyonu ile primer çift göz içi lens implantasyonu yapılan bir gözde santrale uzanmayan interlentiküler membran komplikasyonları gelişti.Sonuç: Çift göz içi lens implantasyonu yüksek hipermetropi-nin düzeltilmesinde ŞLÇ ile beraber etkili ve başarılı bir tedavi yöntemi olabilir. Sekonder çift göz içi lens implantasyonu psödofakik refraktif hatanın düzeltilmesinde yararlı ve kolay bir tedavi seçeneği olabilir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of piggyback intaocular lens implantation for treatment of high hyper-metropic patients and for correcting myopic and hypermetropic refractive errors after cataract surgery. Material and Methods: Seven eyes of four patients were included into the study. Clear lens extraction and primary bilateral piggyback intraocular lens implantation were performed in both eyes of a patient with high hyperopia. Secondary piggyback intraocular lens implantation was performed in five eyes of three patients because of marked pseudophakic ammetropia. Visual outcomes and complications were recorded. Results: Significant decrease of ammetropia and increase in visual satisfaction were obtained. Mean best corrected visual acuities were 0.35 ± 0.21(0.16-0.8) preoperatively, and 0.65 ± 0.27 (0.3-1.0) postoperatively, res-pectively. Mean preoperative and postoperative refractions were +2.79 ± 6.19D (range : +9.00 – 6.05) ve +0.48 ± 1.44 D (range: +2.12 -2.25), respectively. We encountered with two complications in two eyes. In one eye, decentralization of the intraocular lens necessitating reoperation was developed. We also observed an interlenticular membrane that did not reach to the visual axis in one eye with primary implantation. Conclusion: Primary piggyback intraocular lens implantation with clear lens extraction can be an effective and successful method for treatment of high hypermetropia. Secondary piggyback intraocular lens implantation seems to be a useful and easy method for correction of pseudophakic refractive error. | en_US |
