Mermer kesme ve cilalama tesisinde iş sağlığı ve güvenliği tedbirleri ve örnek bir uygulama

Özet
Mermer sektörü ülkemizin kalkınması ve ihracatı bakımından önemli bir paya sahiptir. MTA verilerine göre 2017 yılında doğaltaş ihracatı toplam 2.06 milyar$ olarak gerçekleştiği, madencilik ihracatının da %46,83'ü doğal taşlardan olduğu bildirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, ihracat yapan bir mermer kesme ve cilalama tesisinde fiziksel risk etmenlerinden aydınlatma, termal konfor, gürültü, toz ve titreşim ölçümleri, akredite bir ölçüm şirketi aracılığıyla hizmet alımı yoluyla gerçekleştirilmiş ve ölçüm sonuçlarına göre risk düzeyleri belirlenmiştir. Mermer fabrikasında 6 ay boyunca (Eylül, Ekim, Kasım, Aralık, Ocak, Şubat) aydınlatma, termal konfor, gürültü, toz ve titreşim değişimleri ölçülmüştür. Belirlenen bu ölçümlerin sonunda L Matris ve Fine Kinney risk analizi ile yorumlanmıştır. Analiz sonucunda, mermer fabrikasının gece vardiyasında aydınlatma şiddetinin çok düşük olduğu, termal konfor şartlarında özellikle sıcak-soğuk dengesinde göreceli olarak bir olumsuzluk olduğu, ST makinesi yanında kısa süreli gürültü değerlerinin sınır değerinin çok üzerine çıktığı, mermer fabrikası içinde çok az düzeyde toz oluştuğu ve forklift operatörünün ise yüksek derecede titreşime maruz kaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçta bu olumsuzluklara karşı alınması gereken önlemler belirtilmiştir.
The marble sector has a significant share in the development and export of our country. According to MTA, total natural stone export of Turkey exceeded $2 billion in 2017. It has been reported that 46.83% of mining export were of natural stones. In this study, various physical risk factors (i.e., lighting, thermal comfort, noise, dust and vibration) were assessed of in an exporter marble factory. Through service procurement the measurements were carried out by an accredited measurement company Lighting, thermal comfort, noise, dust and vibration measurements at the marble factory were taken for 6 months (September, October, November, December, January and February). After the measurements, the risk assessment was conducted using L Matrix and Fine-Kinney methods. The results showed that lighting intensity was very low in night shifts, and there was a thermal discomfort especially at hot-cold balance in the factory. The noise measured next to ST machine far exceeded the limit value for short time intervals. The dust level was found to be well below the limit. It was also found that forklift operator was exposed to very high vibration during operation. Finally, some preventions were suggested to minimize the problems.
