Laparoskopik ayarlanabilir stomalı gastrik band operasyonunun erken dönemde serum transaminaz ve lipit profili üzerine etkileri

| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Amaç: Başlı başına bir hastalık olmanın yanısıra, obezite steatoz, hiperlipidemi gibi pek çok hastalığın patogenezinde rol almakta, obeziteye yönelik tedavi yöntemlerinin bu hastalıkların giderilmesine yönelik etkilerinin de olması beklenmektedir. Bu nedenle morbid obezite tanısı ile laparoskopik ayarlanabilir stomalı gastrik band (LASGB) yöntemi ile tedavi edilen hastaların serum transaminaz düzeylerini ve lipid profillerini inceledik. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmamıza morbid obezite tanısı ile LASGB uygulanan 38 ardışık hasta dahil edildi. Hastaların preoperatif ve postoperatif 3. ayda ölçülen vücut ağırlıkları, beden kitle indeksleri (BKİ), açlık serum lipidleri, AST, ALT, ALP, GGT değerleri retrospektif olarak incelendi. Bulgular: LASGB sonrası postoperatif 3. ayda serum lipidleri, AST, ALT, ALP, GGT değerlerindeki azalmanın vücut ağırlığı ve BKİ deki azalma ile paralellik gösterdiği (p< 0,05) gözlenmiştir. Sonuç: Obezitenin cerrahi tedavi yöntemlerinden biri olan LASGB, vücut ağırlığı ve BKİ deki azalmaya ek olarak serum transaminaz düzeyleri ve lipid profili üzerindeki olumlu etkisi ile obezitenin yol açtığı riskleri gidermede etkili bir seçenektir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: Aim: Background: Obesity is not only a disease itself, but also has a contributing role in the pathogenesis of life threating diseases and metabolic impairments among which steatosis and hyperlipidemia are well known. Therefore, treatment options for obesity are expected to have beneficial effects on comorbidities related with the disease. In our study, we aimed to investigate the effects of Laparoscopic Gastric Band with Adjustable Stoma (LASGB) on serum lipid and transaminase levels. Patients and methods: In our study, 38 morbidly obese patients treated with LASGB were involved. Data were collected from preoperative and postopeartive 3rdmonth body weight and Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements and serum lipid and AST, ALT, ALP, GGT levels. Results: Postoperative 3rdmonth triglyceride, AST, ALT, ALP, GGT levels were significantly low when compared with the preoperative results (p< 0,05). Discussion: LASGB provides remarkable decrease in body weight and BMI levels, besides its positive contri- bution to reducing the risk of comorbidities related with morbid obesity. | en_US |
