Özet
Öz: Bu çalışmanın konusu, demokrasilerde sivil toplumun nasıl bir rol üstlendiğidir. Bu çalışmada, öncelikle, demokrasi ve sivil toplum kavramları ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Sonrasında ise demokrasi ve sivil toplum ilişkisi genel olarak açıklanmış olup, özelde ülkemiz bakımından demokrasi ve sivil toplumun gelişimi ele alınmıştır. Nihayet, çalışma sırasında edinilen kanaatlere 'Sonuç' kısmında yer verilmiştir.
Abstract: The subject of this article is "the role of civil society in democracy". In this article, firstly, the concepts of democracy and civil society has separately been examined. Afterwards, it explaines the relationship of civil society and democracy. In addition, development of democracy and civil society has been discussed in terms of Turkey. Finally, the conclusions reached in the article are presented in the part of 'Result' section.
